        ISPAHAN went close on his handicap debut and ran well enough for fourth over today’s trip in a handicap at York last time. David Simcock’s colt will find this easier and can open his account. Cadeau D'Or has been narrowly beaten the last twice now and steps up in trip after placing at Ascot. He’s weighted to beat Ripon runner-up Tinnahalla but Tao Te Ching looks no nearer winning after finishing last of six in a handicap last month. Push The Tempo and Shall We Go Now have both been hurdling with the former preferred on his debut on the Flat.
