    Verdict

Sheila Lewis’s stable is on a terrific run and Knight Commander has contributed two recent victories. Though he carries a penalty in this, it would be no surprise to see the seven-year-old complete his hat-trick. Hahadi won on fast ground at Wincanton and is only 3lb higher but it was heavy going when Russian Service scored over course and distance in March and he really needs further than this. CHRISTOPHER ROBIN has been thereabouts off higher marks since his win at Southwell in August. Kevin Brogan rode a winner for Jonjo O’Neill at Cheltenham last week and is good value for his claim. O’Neill runs Head Lad in this but he lacks a recent outing. 2.10
