In depth
Verdict
A minefield for punters with several of these open to improvement. Karaoke, didn't shape too badly on his venture into handicap company here last week and will certainly strip sharper here, while Morvern doesn't look badly treated off 67, which is basically a platers mark, on this handicap debut. However, Island Star has already proven his well being this term with a solid effort at Brighton, despite being a little too fresh for his own good. Dropped 3lbs for that effort seems a little generous and he is taken to prove the Handicapper wrong. Main danger could prove to be Jannadav, who attracted plenty of support at Beverley. He shaped as though he was in need of a step up in trip that day, something he gets here and with the Handicapper also relenting a little, he could prove troublesome.
