In depth

Verdict

Tempting to go with Street Art as he looked in excellent nick when landing two wins in six days in May. He disappointed at Yarmouth a fortnight later with a strangely low-key effort after appearing to travel well but that was his first attempt on ground with cut and current conditions - and the prospect of further rain- could prove a deterrent to his chance. Therefore, confirmed front runner MININGROCKS is preferred. He's only been upped 6lb for his last two wins, Ger O'Neill has partnered him to success on three occasions and he's a course and distance winner capable on any ground from good to heavy. Eastern Lady is unexposed whilst Celtic Artisan, enjoying a decent year, merits a place on the shortlist.
