In depth
Verdict
West Side Glory showed little or nothing in a couple of ordinary maidens on artificial surfaces before delivering significant improvement on turf debut when a good second at Salisbury and has leading claims if able to sustain that level. Halcyon Spirit has shaped well enough the last twice to confirm he's capable of landing an ordinary maiden and is respected, but IMPERIAL EIGHT (NAP) impressed on debut when running the useful and far more experienced Gainsbourg to just half a length at Hamilton recently. Crucially, she had the remainder of the 12-strong field easily beaten off that day and can go one better now. Sienna Breeze looks best of the rest.
