Verdict
The horses with experience look nothing special, so the options here concern the newcomers, and Tactile could be the one to make a winning debut, with Mommkin and New Morning selected as the main threats. Sir Michael Stoute's filly runs in the same colours as stable star Russian Rhythm, and although she may never reach the same dizzy heights, she does have some blue blood in her veins being by the prolific sire Groom Dancer. She stables debutants invariably know their job and she should run well. Mommkin is by Royal Academy and is owned by Sheikh Ahmed Al Maktoum who often houses his better horses at Mick Channon's yard, while New Morning is bred in the purple, being a full sister to the top class Islington. Some impressive pedigree's on show and the narrow vote goes to Tactile, with Mommkin and New Morning set to make pleasing debuts.
