Verdict

Airplane was raised 6lb for landing a minor handicap and has never been this far but Lucky Deal, the only other three-year-old in the line-up, has been racing at a much higher level and has been placed twice over this trip. Potters Lady Jane won a Class 4 at Yarmouth then ran so poorly on a return visit it can't have been her form. All My Love will stay the trip but hasn't been running well enough nor has course and distance winner Jack Bear. TARTE TROPEZIENNE (NAP) was beaten a neck in a better race over the course and distance a fortnight ago and the assessor has been lenient in leaving her on the same mark. Ian Williams' filly looks the one to beat on that form though Handiwork was in excellent form in the spring and should be ready after two recent runs following a long break.
