      Verdict

Motahassen has been performing with credit since scoring at Carlisle in August and can go well despite a big weight. Simon Walker is usually the rider to side with in these events and Steve Gollings has booked him for Nevada, who was probably a bit unlucky at Chelmsford last time. Whatwouldyouknow completed a double in the summer and remains competitive from this sort of mark judging by a neck defeat at Chelmsford but Dream Free's victory at Beverley came in a seller and he's been beaten five times over hurdles subsequently. CHAMPAGNE RULES has won over the course and distance and completed a double on the all-weather around this time last year. He's taken his time to find his form this campaign but ran much better at Wolverhampton last time and will get a good ride from James King.
