In depth

Verdict

The Irish looks to hold sway once again with Important Moment an useful-looking recruit from the pointing arena and looking the stronger of the two Crawford entries. Pershing has been generally disappointing on the majority of his hurdles outings and a career record of 0-25 under all codes does not encourage confidence but the best of his form does bring him strongly into the equation. However, TAJSEER (NAP) has been improving with each run this term and was only denied into a photo finish at Down Royal over 2m on good ground last month. That rates his best performance to date and he was ten lengths clear of the third that day and can go one better under the same conditions. Sweet Holly looks best of the home contingent but has something to find with her Irish counterparts.
