In depth

Verdict

KIAN'S DELIGHT was no match for Changing The Guard and Baby Mix at Newton Abbot but that was no disgrace and he'd impressed when making a successful chasing debut at Fakenham. A course winner over hurdles, this rates an easier assignment and he can revert to winning ways for the in-form Peter Bowen. The Elliott contender is the experienced Best Served Cold but his form lacks any depth whilst D J Milan is an interesting chasing recruit for the McCain operation. He's one to note but Rhymers Ha' looks the main danger to the selection. A praiseworthy second on debut to the more experienced Jack The Gent, he stumbled early on at Hexham last time. He receives a stone, including his pilot's allowance, from the topweight and looks interesting.
