Verdict
Craig Nicol has struck up a really good relationship with MOMKINZAIN, the pair having landed two successive victories for Lucinda Russell. Both successes were delivered over course and distance and this progressive type can defy a 13lb rise for those wins and complete the three-timer against primarily out of form sorts. Born To Shine is the one who could be the threat to the hat-trick bid after being backed into favouritism last time when taking a tired fall at Hexham over 2m5f. He had shown his first promise over timber previously at Kelso when third to Croco Bay and the drop back to 2m looks a wise decision. Course and distance winner Pete has been a good servant down the years for the Murtagh team and whilst not that easy to catch right, he's still capable of useful form at this level.
