In depth
Verdict
Blakeney Point is potentially well treated on the pick of his form and a similar comment applies to top weight Mrs Hyde, twice a Listed winner in novice company early last season. Ingleby Hollow was a fair fifth at Market Rasen in between Flat wins at Doncaster and Thirsk but switched stables at the start of the week. Cartmel third Beeno isn’t getting any younger and there are three four-year-olds in this with more scope. HISTORIC HEART beat Golden Town by seven lengths here before running in the Grade 3 Swinton Hurdle at Haydock in May. He has been highly tried but has still won three times over timber and is preferred to more recent course winner Island Nation and handicap debutant Peaked Too Soon.
