Verdict
This is Lough Kent’s time of year but he’ll likely be warming up for a return to his beloved Cartmel. Wild Sam had just hit the front when falling at the last at Ayr nine days ago. He races off the same mark here so must go close with a clear round but Santa Anna looks harshly treated on what she’s shown so far. FAIRLEE GRACE has probably been running better than her bare results suggest. She wasn’t beaten far off a higher mark at Ayr in January and might offer some each-way value.
