Verdict

Catch The Perk looks booked for another course win, with Sungates, Green Go and Francines Boy the ones to give him most to do. Catch The Perk goes well round here, and gained his third course victory in impressive fashion last month. Lucinda Russell's nine-year-old was fancied to follow up at Bangor next time, and although beaten, he plugged on gamely enough, and is taken to get losses back today despite topweight. Sungates gained a couple of wins in midsummer, but has struggled since off his new mark, while Green Go beat little at Stratford. Mind you, that was only his second outing in two years, so there may be more to come. Francines Boy was given a patient ride to open his British account at Uttoxeter, and he is another that has not had much racing lately. Those mentioned should all make their presence felt, but Catch The Perk has the best form round here and can go in again.
