Verdict

IMPULSIVE AMERICAN is unlikely to be much of a price but is difficult to oppose making a quick reappearance after winning a better race at Ayr last Saturday. He showed a nice turn of foot and escapes a penalty, though has had a busy campaign. Cactus Valley has a lot more to do after getting off the mark at Wetherby last Sunday and Kelso maiden winner Benny's Secret also needs to up his game. But Dimple should find a small handicap on the evidence of his third at Doncaster in December and Western Miller came right back to form at Newton Abbot last month, though is 5lb higher. Bright Prospect has only had two runs for Jackie Stephen and is capable of better.
