Verdict

AL DAFA was given a quiet introduction to hurdling at Listowel and can improve to win this. Gordon Elliott's son of Kingmambo hasn't been with the yard for long but he showed ability on the flat when successful at Nottingham for Michael Bell. Ancient Times was operating at about the same level on the flat, whilst Leopard Hills was also no superstar but showed some ability when third at Cartmel on his jumping debut. Master Performer needs a market check given he ran in some good Curragh maidens, whilst Resolute Road strikes as more interesting than the sprint-bred Weetentherty.
