Verdict

BRITZKA has enjoyed some big days out at Cheltenham and Fairyhouse and it appears significant that Gordon Elliott elected to protect his handicap mark by keeping him busy on the Flat. Kavanaghs Cross returns off the back of a wind surgery and Ann Duffield has taken over the training duties. Malangen is no stranger to this venue having won twice at the track during the summer. Andy Crook has not saddled a winner for a considerable period though Lady Babs goes well on right-handed tracks and is in receipt of a valuable mares allowance.
