Verdict

Travel is taken to thwart the hat-trick bid of Dream Castle, with Millagros seen as the other major player. Travel is on a retrieval mission after falling three out when in with every chance on his last start at Huntingdon, and if none the worse for that tumble, can add to his previous course and distance success. That came in May after an eight-month absence, and although he is higher in the weights now, Tom George's inmate will now be even fitter, and is taken to see off the challenge of Dream Castle. The Irish raider did nothing wrong last time when making all at Hexham, defying a 15lb rise for his earlier easy victory at Cartmel, and is obviously on good terms with himself at present. He should hold Wyn Dixie at least on his latest form, and along with Millagros, can give the selection most to do. The latter was all out to beat Farne Isle on his last visit here and has since had a spin on the Flat to keep him sharp. Bodfari Signet was an early faller at Kelso last time, while Bringontheclowns did not jump well at Uttoxeter. Both have plenty to do now, and it is Travel who gets the vote.
