In depth

Verdict

ENDEAVOR has gone well for his amateur pilot in the past and looks on a fair mark in a modest contest. He'll be far more at home on this ground than conditions faced in his last three starts. Stable companion Front Rank is also respected but a bigger threat looks to be Lucinda Russell's four-year-old Urban Kode. He was beaten at odds-on last time in handicap company but it was an acceptable effort and his run behind Kings Chorister three outings ago reads especially well here. The one concern is that all his best form has come on good ground or better and he may not be ideally suited by this ground with cut. Benluna and the unexposed Shisha Threesixty are also noteworthy in a trappy contest.
