In depth
Verdict
Princess Aimee has an obvious chance in a poor contest and is taken to win her third race from four starts at the main expense of Temper Lad and Miss Quickly. The selection is the only runner in the field that comes into this in any sort of form, coming here on the back of a win at Fontwell over an extended 2m2f, form on which she holds West Aside. The step up in trip is of slight concern but the opposition lacks any real strength in depth and Peter Bowen's filly is taken to score again. Anything that Venetia Williams saddles has to be given respect so Miss Quickly cannot be ruled out entirely. Mizinky has claims on the pick of her form but may just need this after a 229-day absence so a bigger threat may come from Temper Lad, who has slipped to a fair mark. Muntasir ran better at Exeter last time and has claims if handling today's softer surface but Princess Aimee looks to have been found a soft race and is taken to win.
