In depth
Verdict
It is hard to look further than Yes Sir here, who is taken to beat Geton and Delgay Lad. Peter Bowen's yard is flying at present and this Needle Gun gelding has shown enough in three bumpers to date to suggest he can add to the trainers impressive tally. His most recent second was only in a four runner affair, but the form looks decent as the winner was well touted, and the third was a long way behind. Geton is very well related being by Glacial Storm, out of a Strong Gale mare, if there is support for the Martin Pipe representative take note. Delgay Lad can be expected to improve on his debut effort at Exeter and should be best of the remainder, but Yes Sir has already shown plenty of ability and is a confident choice.
