In depth

Verdict

Several have claims in the opener including Doncaster runner-up Gylo and Just The Man, who just failed to catch the winner at Ludlow. Touchthesoul was no match for the winner over track and trip a week ago but KAMAXOS was beaten only a length at Hereford on his hurdling debut and first start for Roger Teal’s yard having failed to win on the Flat when trained in France. Clear of the rest on that occasion, he looks capable of winning at this level and gets the vote.
