In depth

Verdict

Connections reported breathing problems after Roque It was pulled up in a handicap at Newbury last month. He wears a tongue-tie back in maiden company and shouldn’t be left out of calculations. This will be the quickest ground that ONAGATHERINGSTORM has so far encountered but he split a couple of decent novices on his hurdling debut at Uttoxeter and was doing his best work at the finish so the extra furlong will aid his cause. Rapid Flight only weakened approaching the last when fifth on his introduction at Hereford and is another with bags of scope while Gosuatri needed the experience at Wetherby.
