Twice a winner here last season, High Counsel has dropped to a very lenient mark but he’s not been showing much lately and connections reach for the blinkers today. GOODNIGHT CHARLIE is back in the groove and this strong stayer is 17lb lower than when last successful. She goes on the track and her recent form looks superior to that of her rivals so she can gain a deserved victory this afternoon. Robin Of Sherwood is heading back in the right direction but the going may have turned against David Rees’ gelding and Chimes Of Dylan was tailed off when third over this trip at Fakenham. The Boola Bee won twice last summer but is only now starting to come down the weights again.
