In depth
Verdict
A wide open affair gets proceedings under way. Diamonds Will Do has ran well without winning. He was a fair third behind Marigliano last time out over two miles just staying on at one pace. The step back up in trip is an advantage and he will be hard to beat running off the same mark. Ice Crystal won well at Fontwell last time out but that was on very sticky ground and he will find this harder under his penalty. Uncle Mick was a fair fourth behind Sure Future at Kempton last time out, that was in a class C contest and he drops to a class D event here. The gelding from the Colin Tizzard yard is proven on the ground and he will not be far away. Empire Park would also have a chance on his best form but he looks in the handicappers grip at present. Stand Aside is from a yard beginning to hit top form, but his best form is on faster ground. Muck Savage was just touched off over three miles at Taunton a couple of runs ago. The gelding from the Charlie Mann yard is proven on the ground and the return to this shorter trip may help. Audiostreetdotcom won well last time out but this is much more competitive., The remainder are out of form and readily opposed.
