Verdict
A competitive contest here and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Grand Prairie, City Affair and Major Belle and the vote is given to City Affair. The selection has been in good form of late without winning and was a fair fourth last time out behind Sarasota last time out. That form has since been franked and off what looks a good mark he will be hard to beat. Gran Prairie rates the main danger on his latest second behind Physical Graffiti but although he travels well in his races he finds little off the bridle and for that reason he is opposed. Major Belle showed improved form to be third behind Runner Bean but that was in a chase and then return to hurdles is not sure to suit. Jour de Mee is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to City Affair.
