Or Jaune looks capable of defying topweight here, with Or Sing About, Bartercard and Ashwell Lad other frame possibles. The selection was a convincing winner of a similar Fontwell contest a fortnight or so ago, when both trip and ground suited. Although he looked straight enough, there is surely a fair bit more to come and with just 3lb to concede here he is taken to be good enough. Or Sing About made a pleasing debut at Chepstow and promised more here if handling faster ground. He is preferred to Bartercard, who has looked fairly ordinary so far, but who may well show more after a decent break, while debutante Ashwell Lad comes from a yard going well and any market confidence would probably be significant. But Or Jaune sets the standard and can back up his Fontwell win.
