Verdict
Tanterari is given the nomination here with McSnappy the likely danger, although the Paul Nicholls-trained newcomer Northern Edition could be capable of a big run if the market speaks in his favour. The selection had shown a fair level of form in Ireland before disappointing on his chasing debut at Exeter when he was pulled-up. He went off as the favourite that day but found the ground a little testing, and he is given a chance to redeem himself here under more suitable conditions. McSnappy has got ability but has been disappointing of late so will struggle to beat our selection, although he looks to have decent place prospects. The one that could give our selection the most to do therefore is Northern Edition. This gelding from the Paul Nicholls yard is sure to have been well schooled for this his chasing debut, and if the market provides any positive vibes, then it may pay to take the hint. Lynrick Lady is the other that could have decent place claims, but Tanterari is given another opportunity to confirm his promise and is given the vote.
