In depth

Verdict

Wondersobright is a solid yardstick in this grade and can be relied upon to run his race; as such he gets the vote. Lightening Fire has never made the frame in thirteen attempts over obstacles but David England is an interesting booking and the yard shows a level stakes profit at the track. The selection is still a maiden over hurdles but he has made the frame on five occasions, is on a fair mark, in form and will handle conditions. As such, he gets the vote in a race where few can boast such solid credentials. Relative Hero merits consideration but looks a little high in the weights, Somewin is entitled to come on for his reappearance and is another that could get involved whilst Booster Divin also merits a place on the short-list. Money for the likes of Gracialina and Lightening Fire would be interesting but this may be the day that Wondersobright gains that elusive success.
