Verdict
Blue Streak is on a retrieval mission and is worth chancing, with Haikal and Adalie seen as the main dangers. Blue Streak is a course and distance winner here three times in all, most recently on 6 October when something of an easy winner in a first-time eyeshield under Tony McCoy. The champion was on board again on the six-year-old's last outing at the Sussex track when he found one too good in Double Blade, but was well clear of the rest. He looks set to give his amateur pilot a good ride round a course he knows, and should be up to the task. Haikal has yet to race here and may need further to be seen at his best, while Adalie won a similar event at Fontwell in March but ran out early on at Uttoxeter on his comeback and is best watched. this should not take too much winning and Blue Streak, with the best overall form, is the pick in the finale.
