In depth
Verdict
Little strength in depth to a modest contest that should take little winning. Nick Gaselee's Golden showed the benefit of previous experience when running out a narrow winner at Taunton last time but a 7lb penalty may prevent the follow-up while Lambadora is still to win a race in either code and has been soundly beaten in recent outings so the vote goes to Sel. Gary Moore's charge, a dual winner on the level, has shown more than enough ability to suggest that she can lift a race of this nature having been placed on three occasions before running inexplicably badly at Fontwell last time. The daughter of Salse must be given another chance to fulfill the potential of previous efforts.
