    Verdict

Bookmark is due to be raised 3lb for last week’s second at Chelmsford. She should be in the mix again and is preferred to Water Iris and Art Dealer with neither of the latter pair looking any nearer to winning. But BROUGHTONS MISSION was doing his best work at the finish when runner-up over a mile here last month and a chance is taken John Berry’s charge stays this extra distance as he goes handicapping for the first time.
