In depth
Verdict
John Gosden is double handed here with Majestic Movement and Northangar Abbey, both are capable of going close, however we will give the vote to Amazing Valour, with Mutamaasek also set to go close. Mark Johnston's colt put up a promising debut when chasing home Little Miss Gracie over the mile trip here recently. Being by Derby winner Sinndar this extra couple of furlongs should be ideal and he looks the one to beat. Majestic Movement showed plenty of promise at Sandown on his first outing when fifth behind Velvet Heights. He didn't handle Chester last time, but will be much more at home at the Yorkshire venue. Mutamaasek, like a lot of John Dunlop's juveniles, is taking time to find his feet, however he put up a superb display last time when second to Catch A Star, who gave the form a boost on Saturday.Northangar Abbey is steadily improving and could run into a place, but Amazing Valour should come into his own over this trip and gets the decision.
