Verdict
Off Chance won this 12 months ago but could find DARK PROMISE and Folly Bridge tough nuts to crack this year. Preference is for Roger Varian's filly, who shrugged off a lengthy lay-off to score on her reappearance in a competitive Newmarket handicap and still looks to be on the upgrade. Folly Bridge is a solid yardstick and also won at HQ on her latest start. But this is her first try at this trip and her stamina may just be found lacking. Kinky Afro has claims on her third to Emulous at the Curragh, while Hamilton winner Gobama wasn't disgraced in this grade in Italy last time. Law Of The Range is chasing a hat-trick after wins at Sandown and Ascot but could find a couple of these too strong off level weights.
