Verdict
Eight of Arganil's 10 career wins have come on the all-weather but he's dropped to a very attractive mark on turf and has been running a little better than his form figures suggest lately. It would be no surprise to see him in the firing-line alongside course specialists Dickie Le Davoir and Mr Wolf. Klynch has already won four times this year but the handicapper may have him in his grip now and preference is for LAYLA'S HERO. Twice a winner in Listed contests over this trip as a two-year-old, Dandy Nicholls' charge has dropped 12lb since the start of the year and is back over his best distance today - he can end a long losing sequence.
