Verdict
This is no better than a seller and it will take little winning. Touch Of Ebony, who has been hurdling without success, is well treated on some bits of form he showed as a three-year-old, but this half-brother to the high-class middle distance performer Rock Hopper, may need some give underfoot to be at his best. Seattle Prince won one of these apprentice handicaps last year and must have a chance in this off only a 2lbs higher mark, while the in-form Vitelucy is sure to have plenty of supporters. The winner of a claimer when last seen on the flat, she has been kept on the move in the interim over hurdles, where she showed improved form on her latest effort at Southwell, when runner-up to the useful Dancing Pearl, who was winning for the second time. If that effort can be relied upon, she is going to take all the beating here. Noble Cyrano lacks consistency, but does go well for an inexperienced rider, while Geri Roulette is another who is capable of a bold show, if putting her best hoof forward, something she cannot be relied upon to do.
