      Verdict

      Sir Mark Prescott has plotted a familiar path with FINAL ROCK, starting him off over a mile then stepping him up to 1m2f where he's completed a hat-trick. He has a penalty for last week's York success but top amateur Simon Walker is in the saddle. Demurrer was returning from a long break and making his handicap debut when landing a Class 6 handicap at Lingfield over 1m1f. He's only been raised 4lb but has his stamina to prove as does Make Me, though the latter was staying on very strongly over a mile at Thirsk. Different Journey was beaten in a seller last time but First Dance has slipped to a mark she should be capable of winning from soon.
