      Verdict

      FIRST FLIGHT would have no problems landing this on his victory in a Class 2 at Ayr in June and though he's had wind surgery since tailed off on this track last month a chance is taken that the procedure has been a success. Alejandro couldn't get to Three Saints Bay at Beverley but the winner is in cracking form so it was a very fair effort. Rockwood went up an incredible 13lb after a nine length victory at Musselburgh and has been unable to cope while Ginger Jack has finished tailed off in his two starts since changing stables. The once-useful Mutarakez has been running poorly since winning on soft ground here in May.
