Verdict
BONDI BEACH BOY stormed home at Beverley a couple of weeks ago and though raised 7lb he's won from much higher marks in the past. Now he's struck form he's worth following though Classic Pursuit, who comes here with a 12lb penalty after his double here and at Nottingham, is an obvious threat. Canford Bay, beaten just over a length by the latter on this track, is 5lb better off so must have a realistic chance of reversing the form. Desert Ace was only two lengths behind the selection at Beverley and is 7lb better off though never got in a blow and the remainder will need to find some improvement.
