        Verdict

        A good Listed event in which Welsh Diva and Monturani are the highest rated with the former getting the nod. Listed winner Monturani was disappointing on her return but should at least be sharper for it. Group 3 winner Welsh Diva finished well ahead of her that day (Mameyuki was further behind) and can confirm the form again. On a line through Aldora, Lady Bear has to improve a little to get past the selection, and the main danger could well be Macadamia, whose neck second to Akshar looks even better following that colt's recent Epsom win. Mythic could also be competitive if returning to her form of last summer but she has disappointed on her last two outings.
