Verdict

Choir Leader can improve again to beat Alshawameq, Double Vodka and Silverhay. Another good contest at the Yorkshire track can see the progressive Choir Leader add to his very impressive victory here three weeks ago. The half-brother to Chorist absolutely bolted up to the tune of nine lengths, and does not look harshly treated for his handicap debut. He may prove to be a class above this lot, even though quite a few have shown fair form themselves, with Double Vodka, Silverhay and Mrs Moh having gained six wins between them of late. Alshawameq has run well in decent company, and Riley Boys deserves to get his head in front after some unlucky efforts. However, it was hard not to be impressed by Choir Leader last time and we shall stick with him as the selection.
