    Verdict

A field large in numbers but low in quality and on closer inspection the principals look to be Obrigado, Secluded and Cryptogam and we will take a chance on Obrigado. The colt from the William Haggas yard was a good second behind Crail last time out under similar conditions and a reproduction of that effort here would see him go close. Secluded rates the main danger on his latest fifth behind Dawarr but he has only ever run on the AW and it is hard to know if he will be able to run to that level of form on turf. Cryptogam would also have chances on his best placed form but he has had plenty of chances and for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Of the remainder Eboracum Lady would have a chance on her latest third but she has been done no favours by the draw so we are happy to stick with Obrigado.
