          Verdict

          A wide open handicap rounds off proceedings and the principals look to be The Old Soldier, Bryano De Bergerac and Soaked and we will take a chance on The Old Soldier. The gelding from the Alan Dickman yard has been in good form of late and a reproduction of his latest third behind Smirfys Party would make him hard to beat. Bryano De Bergerac ran well last time out when third but that was on rain softened ground so for that reason he is opposed on this occasion.Soaked is another worthy of respect he has dropped to a handy mark and he is sure to run his race from a good draw. A teen is another that could go well but he ran as if the handicapper had caught up with him when fifth last time. Of the remainder Attorney is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but we are happy too side with The Old Soldier.
