Following her comfortable Ascot victory, Lochridge comes here in great heart and looks the one to be on. This daughter of the flying filly, Lochsong, has the ideal draw in one and can score in the Listed contest, the card's feature. Clear on official ratings is Golden Nun. She has not won since her two-year-old days but, repetition of a good third to Torosay Spring in a Group 3 event at Chester in July, would see her very competitive. The consistent Simianna was not far behind her that day and she too will have plenty of supporters. Vita Spericolata has three-and-a-half lengths to find with the selection on Ascot form, while Goldeva has five lengths to find, although she is four pounds better off with Lochridge and was hampered at the start at the Royal venue. Lady Lindsay is interesting in that she was thought good enough to be tried at Group 3 level over seven furlongs in Ireland last time. She too has to be respected and it is interesting also that she drops back to six furlongs for the first time here since winning over the trip as a juvenile. Enchanted has been a little disappointing so far this year and Camlet, who has a bit to find with Golden Nun on their York runs, is lightly raced but clearly not up to the level of her half-sister Gossamer. Look Here's Carol also has a bit to find on that York race mentioned but, on bits of form, could be given a place chance. Overall, though, we are prepared to stay loyal to Lochridge.
