Verdict
Lezardrieux was only beaten half-a-length off this mark at Catterick nine days ago so has obvious claims. Production was another to find only one too good recently, at Kempton, but Richard Whitaker targets this contest and is seeking a fourth win in succession with PENNY POT LANE. The mare won this in 2017 and is back on a winning mark with Gavin Ashton’s claim a further positive. Six Strings shouldn’t be far away but My Dandy Doc’s win at Doncaster in July may have been a fluke.
