Verdict
Blonde Streak has plenty going for her as she bids to put an unlucky run at Thirsk behind her, and can make amends ahead of Astrocharm and Gallant Boy. David Barron has his team in fine form at present, and his filly, already successful twice this season, can win this Classified contest before going for a decent handicap this autumn. She was very unlucky behind Brazilian Terrace at Thirsk, losing her place and then not getting any luck in running as she took hold of the bit again inside the final furlong. The ground and trip are in her favour and Blond Streak will be strongly fancied. Astrocharm is a course and distance winner who will love the fast ground, but Gallant Boy needs plenty of cover which he might not get in this small field. Apex Star has not recaptured his juvenile form yet, but Atlantic Ace, another who has won here can make his presence felt. However, they are all playing for second place, as Blond Streak is the one to be on.
