Verdict
Sir Nod could be the class act here and is taken to give weight and a beating to Rosapenna and Norcroft. The selection made a very favourable impression when landing a competitive maiden at Wolverhampton in December. He confirmed that promise when finishing just seven lengths behind the smart Secret History at Beverley in April. Today's drop in trip should suit and as he is very lightly raced he is open to plenty of improvement. Rosapenna confirmed previous promise with a victory at Catterick last month and doesn't look over burdened for her handicap return. Meanwhile Norcroft can go close if transferring his all weather form back to the turf. In a wide open affair Dragon Slayer and Benny The Bus must also be given plenty of respect, but Sir Nod has plenty of scope for improvement and just gets the verdict.
