Verdict
It can pay to stick with Classic Vision, who has hit form at the right time for this, and she is selected in preference to Sharp Secret and Miss Eloise, who make the most appeal out of the rest. That said Transcendentale has claims in this company and is no forlorn hope of reaching the frame now that Kieren Fallon is doing the steering. Dave Allan is also a good booking to Miss Eloise, who ran a cracker when narrowly going down in a handicap at Haydock at the start of this month. And a bold bid from her is expected if she handles the going. In contrast to Sharp Secret, who has no fears regarding the trip or going and should strip fitter after her reappearance last month. However, she does need to improve on that effort and may find the selection has her measure as her confidence is on a high after a game success at Leicester eight days ago. The daughter of Classic Cliche picked up just a 3lb rise after that effort, which could have been harsher considering the manner in which this in-foal filly ran on in the closing stages. Classic Vision comes from a family that the trainer has done well with in the past and she can continue the profitable association if the headgear works again today.
