Verdict
Edgar Allan Poe has run four times here and been beaten only once. His mid-summer double came on fast ground but he's won on good to soft so it shouldn't be a problem. RAKE'S PROGRESS could be good enough as he beat Sod's Law comfortably over the trip on soft ground at Nottingham and is only 4lb higher while Glasses Up is very consistent, though has been beaten four times off this mark. Regal Mirage wins his share but seems best over 1m4f these days while the maiden Bo Samraan hasn't run since May. Delph Crescent has dropped in the weights, despite a couple of decent runs, so looks likely to go well along with the progressive Power Player.
