    Verdict

With Ralph Beckett's yard in superb form, York novice winner Wycliff will have to be considered as he won on soft at Doncaster earlier. GRAND ROCK only won by a neck in a three-runner race at Epsom but was eased down and had plenty in hand. That was on heavy going at is was when he scored at Hamilton so conditions will be in his favour. He's A Keeper couldn't handle Listed company at Haydock after scoring there earlier while Freyja's two Beverley victories were on much quicker ground. King Carney is progressing nicely judging by his Nottingham victory though needs to step up even further.
